Conversation with My Younger Self

As Me:

— Hello my friend! I remember you. You are part of me in every memory. I see you in your beauty — your struggles, your mistakes, and your victories. I am proud of the strength it took to keep going, even when our choices were made from fear, confusion, or pain. I know that sometimes our actions may not feel right when I look back now — and yet, in those moments, they seemed like the only path we knew. And I know there were times you held back, doubted yourself, or let opportunities pass. But I know you were doing your best with what you had at the time. Just know that you are never alone — I’m with you and hold you tight. I forgive you for everything, even the parts you don’t forgive. And thank you for everything, because every choice has brought us here — where I can make better choices. I love you.

 

As My Younger Self:

— Hi! How are you? How old are you now? Have you become the person we dreamed of? How is your health? How is your well-being? Do you love yourself? Do you love the world around you? Are you happy? I know, life can bring changes we can’t predict. Maybe some things feel harder now than they once did — but please remember, you still carry the same light and strength inside. I love you, wherever you are in your life right now. Not every dream has to be fulfilled — and some of them were never truly ours. I believe in you, and I know your potential. You are my star — and always will be. Thank you for carrying us this far. If you could give me one piece of advice from where you are now, what would it be? I love you.
